[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he new mini Lenzokart, exhibited at ATA (Academia Titi Aur) in Romania, is an important opening towards electric vehicles by the Italian company Brolo (ME).

Not only is the electric engine powered by lithium batteries new, but its remote management, via Wi-Fi or bluetooth controls, ensures the safety of younger drivers at all times.

The high standards of quality and compliance with the regulations for electric karts is ensured by the approval of the FIA-AEC (Alternative Energy Commission).
The project is not limited to the realisation of the electric kart. Radiokart, with the official support of Lenzokart, is organising the first championship in the world in Romania dedicated to electric racing karts, the “Campionatul e-Karting Gatorade”.

The event to be held in 2017 will see four different classes get underway:

  • PicoWatt (4 to 6 years of age)

  • NanoWatt (from 6 to 8 years of age)

  • MicroWatt (from 8 to 10 years of age)

  • MiniWatt (from 10 to 12 years of age)

The MiniWatt ES will also be available for the more experienced drivers. It has an engine with three gears, one mechanical gear and two electrical ones, with a top speed of 140 km/h.
The Championship will expand in 2018 with the arrival of the Junior class, intended for drivers aged 13 and older, and once again electrically powered.
