It’s pointless to make a list of the things Zanardi accomplished in his extraordinary life, because it would reuire so much ink we might have to ask for a bank loan.

So we’ll "just" make do with his recent chapters: after his feats during the Paralympic games in London, where he conquered a grand total of  3 medals (2 gold, 1 silver), Alex Zanardi also served as Italy’s flag bearer in the Paralympic closing ceremonies at the end of September and now comes the hot news that the Olympic committee will nominate him as Paralympic Man. In addition, yesterday was his first day as the new host of one of Italy’s most popular sport shows, “Sfide” (Challenges), which from now on will bring him on our TV screens every Monday night on Rai Tre.
The team Chiesa Corse, whose karts are equipped with Zanardi chassis, has decided to honor their friend Alex by dedicating the homepage of their website to his successes, decorating it with photos from London, the list of medals conquered, and headlining with the title of Zanardi’s biography: “Well done, Zanardi from Castel Maggiore”. On mark. Thanks Alex.
