A very intense, sunny and cold day in South Garda Karting set the ambience for a very important day for the 24th edition of Winter Cup.
KZ2: A very high-quality heats with De Conto and Federer in the lead
The victories in the KZ2 were for Paolo de Conto and Fabian Federer. Both Italians were incredible quick and kept their dominance on track. Despite that, Marjin Kremers and Giuseppe Palomba together with French drivers Adrien Renaudin, Anthony Abbasse and Italians Giacomo Pollini, Matteo Viganò also was able to win a heat.
OK: Joe Turney takes the lead despite KR dominance
Despite the Kart Republics were so strong in pace, but despite that Joe Turney from Tony Kart Racing Team had a perfect day. The British driver always waited for the right time to take the victories in heats A-D and A-C. Gabriele Mini won in heat B-D.
The Senior category has already completed all qualifying heats, with Turney been the best finishing ahead of Dexter Patterson (KR Motorsport) and Leandro Anderruti. Rosberg junior driver finished fourth while a very consistent Dino Beganovic completes the top 5.
OKJ: Antonelli the man to beat
Despite there is still one qualifying heat to take part in OKJ, Andrea Kimi Antonelli from Rosberg Racing has been unstoppable today. The Italian was the best in three heats today, while the other heats were for Theo Wenersson from Ward Racing, Nikita Bedrin from Tony Kart, Thomas Ten Brinke from Ricky Flynn Motorsport and Alex Dunne from Forza Racing.
MiniRok: Irfan dominates in close racing battles
Coskun Irfan has finished as the best after all qualifying heats in MiniRok. The British driver from Baby Race Driver Academy won heat A-C and A-D today. Also showed top performance Rashid Al Dhaheri with the victory in heat B-C and Alex Powell in heat B-D.
