November 8, 2018 – A fourteen driver strong lineup will return to Las Vegas for next weekend’s annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals. With drivers scattered amongst five different racing classes, the goal of race wins, podiums and the chance to be named the 2018 SuperNationals Champion is on the minds of everyone. Kicking off Wednesday, November 14th in the parking lot of the RIO All-Suites Hotel and Casino, the 22nd annual event is set to be the biggest of its kind.
Five drivers will enter the Pro Honda division as they aim towards the top of the charts come Super Sunday. Jeremy Iglesas, Francisco Celinta, Danny Formal, Zach Pettenucci and Emiliano Salazar will all compete aboard either Formula K or Praga chassis under the Leading Edge Motorsports and IPK North America Factory Team banner.
“We have five drivers in the headline class, all of which can be at the front of the field,” explained Greg Bell. “I know we have the equipment and drivers to win, we just need to make sure that luck is on our side as well in Las Vegas.”
Four competitors will enter the X30 Junior field for Leading Edge Motorsport and IPK North America as they enter a stout group of drivers in the premier junior division. Lead by 2018 SKUSA National Champion Arias Deukmedjian, Alex Lloyd, Jonathin Marcusson, and Luke Pink will also work towards SuperNats glory.
Asael Solis and Eduardo Cardosa will fight for the win in the X30 Masters class while Jorge Galvin enters the X30 Senior category. Jakub Kolar will be the lone Leading Edge Motorsports driver in IAME Mini Swift.
Bell continued, “We have very limited time between events and have been pulling long hours both at the track and in the shop. Prepping new and used equipment and engines as well as stocking a complete line of parts and products in the trailer has kept us all busy. Excited to try and close out the season on a high and see if we can walk away with a few more championships.”
IPK North America and Leading Edge Motorsports will have a huge chassis blowout sale following the SKUSA SuperNationals. Any interested dealers, teams or drivers looking to take advantage of incredible deals are urged to contact Greg Bell ASAP.
