Italian F.4 Championship - round 4, Giuliano Raucci wins Race 2

The Brazilian Giuliano Raucci wins Race 2 at Mugello. Juri Vips is first in the Rookie Trophy. On the podium with Giuliano Raucci was Diego Bertonelli and Juri Vips. Out of contention on the second lap were Juan Correa and Mick Schumacher whilst the were fighting for first place.

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ace 2 of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth started at 9:00am, however a starting grid accident involving 4 drivers (Joao Vieira stalled causing chaos behind with Jaden Conwright, Giacomo Bianchi and Mariano Lavigna) bringing out the red flag. The new start time for Race 2 was therefore 11:00am under clear skies and a temperature of around 20 degrees. Juan Correa of the Prema Power Team led away from pole position followed very closely by his team mate Mick Schumacher who tried to pass for the lead into the first turn on the second lap: the two drivers touched and the German immediately retired, while the American rejoined the race to eventually finish 16th.
The beneficiary was the Brazilian Giuliano Raucci (Diegi Motorsport), who took over the lead of the race without problem consistently recording

1:47.7 lap times. Behind him was the Italian Diego Bertonelli, who started out of grid six, driving for Bhaitech with the final step of the podium going to the Estonian Juri Vips of the Prema Power Team.
The rest of the order was Raul Guzman (DR Racing), Devlin De Francesco (kfzteile24 Mucke Motorsport), Sebastian Fernandez (RB Racing) Yi Yifei (kfzteile24 Mucke Motorsport), Marcos Siebert and Job Van Uitert of Jenzer Motorsport and in tenth place Yan Shlom of RB Racing.
The top step of the Rookie podium was taken by Juri Vips, followed by Sebastian Fernandez and Simone Cunati (Vincenzo Sospiri Racing).
Fabienne Wohlwend won the Rookie Trophy.
Race 3 (with a duration of 18 mins + 1 lap) of the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth will take place this afternoon at 17:20. The complete results of Race 2 are available on acisportitalia.it/f4.
