Kart and Formula. Formula and Kart. These are the stars of any young driver’s dreams. And now,  thanks to Easykart and Predator’s, the two can be dreamed togetherthanks to the agreement signed for 2013 between  the single brand series by Birel and the competition born in 2006 and featuring identical small-size single-seater formula autos.

The agreement gives Easykart drivers the opportunity to try single-seaters on official auto racing circuits and at reduced costs and at the same time allow Predator’s drivers to race in karts, which remains the best training ground for auto racing.
The collaboration has the objective of “allowing Easykart drivers to try Predator’s formula cars without leaving the world of kart racing.” Rather than pushing young talents to an immediate move up to so-called “formative formulas,” considering the big jumps and also the high costs involved, the idea  is to give very young drivers the opportunity to “face a year of transition, continuing with kart racing, at least in the most important events, while at the same time racing on Predator’s”  (for a season cost of 20,000 euro, ed.).  In short, a sort of racing school to allow kids to get acquainted with the circuits and driving skills tied to single-seater autos, so they may “be well prepared to face major Formulas later on.”
Specific initiatives are in the works to consolidate the collaboration, such as mixed Easykart-Predator’s test days and combined race events involving sessions on both vehicles.
