Kozlinski and Russell on track in Lonato with the new Birel colors
TKART Staff
10 January 2013

This is not the first time we talk about Arnauld Kozlinski and George Russell as the new faces of Birel Motorsport for 2013 (CLICK HERE to read the news on Kozlinski and CLICK HERE to read the one on Russell). As you can see from the photo, at the beginning of this new year the two drivers have had the chance to step on track in Lonato to try their hand at the first laps with the new team colors and the TM engines that will power the team in 2013 in both KZ and KF.

On track with them there was also Ronni Sala, Birel Motorsport president, who stressed that Kozlinski immediately felt at ease with the material (both chassis and engine) as well as with the team (even if during the year he will be supported by AVG Racing) and explained that Russell chose to join Birel because he feels at home, besides expressing appreciation for the top of the line quality of the material, as well as of the team and the mechanics. About Russell Ronni Sala also added that: “He did excellent times from the get-go, also comparing them with those of the other drivers who were present and who will be his direct rivals this season: I am quite impressed. His season will start with the WSK Master Series and this will probably also be the case for De Conto in KZ. Instead, the other drivers of the team will join the action at the Winter Cup.” Speaking of other drivers, Sala udnelrines the fact that Toninelli trained with Kozlinski in these past days and that the other two drivers of the KF, Sebastien Bailly (ex Kosmic), also a new entry, and Vigorito, are undergoing top level preparation. In KF Junior, this season Birel will see its colors defended by the French driver Gabriel Aubry.
