[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Italian ACI Karting Championship has visited the Adria Karting Raceway with category Prodriver on track. Maranello Kart’s drivers have been among the main protagonists of the event taking an important double podium with Luca Bombardelli, who is now one of the candidates to the title. Coming from the unlucky performance in the first round of Castelletto, Luca Bombardelli managed to show his potential and to fight for the victory in the category Prodriver Under on Maranello-Tm in Adria. Bombardelli put in a good comeback run and closed the first Final with an excellent second place. He later on confirmed all his speed also in Race-2, despite the top eight grid inversion. Bombardelli recovered well in the second final too, closing in on the front runners, before taking a good third place.

These good results placed Maranello Kart’s driver among the candidates to the victory of the title, that will be battled out in the third and final round of the Championship scheduled in Triscina (Sicily) next September 18th. Bombardelli is in fact currently fifth in the classification, but considering the two jokers, thanks to his 48 points, he can still aim to the final victory.
The good performance of Maranello Kart’s Prodriver Under drivers in Adria has been confirmed by some other racers on the Italian chassis. Alessio Zanotti ended twice at the feet of the podium, as he was fourth in Race-1 and fifth in Race-2. The Sicilian driver Francesco Alaimo was 11th in Race-1 and seventh in Race-2, while Daniele D’Uva was 25th in the first Final and 20th in the second.
