The 2021 season has just ended and we are already looking forward to 2022. The Rok Cup race calendar and all the details are still being defined but we can already anticipate that 2022 will be full of events!

Let's start with the first novelty: the Rok season will begin at the end of February on the Lonato circuit with an event race. All driver, of all Rok categories, will have the opportunity to get on the track and warm up their engines after the long winter break.

Then, as always, there will be the Rok Cup Italia: a great championship divided into 8 rounds that will take place on the most renowned circuits in the area, just to name a few: Lonato, Adria, Jesolo, Cremona, Franciacorta, Castelletto.

On the occasion of the Rok Cup Italia, all the Rok categories will be present on the track: Mini Rok, Junior Rok, Senior Rok, Expert Rok, Super Rok and Shifter Rok. To gain access to the championship standings it will be necessary to participate in at least 5 races and the best 5 results will be considered for the purposes of the final classification.

As soon as the calendar is completed, we will communicate the dates, the tracks and all the details.

The prize money of the Rok Cup Italia is also noteworthy: in addition to the prizes provided for the winners of each individual race, at each round and in each category, extra prizes will also be awarded on the basis of a dedicated ranking:

- 1st place: 3 sets of LeVanto tires, 12lt ENI KART 2T Racing Oil

- 2nd place: 2 sets of LeVanto tires

- 3rd place: 1 set of LeVanto tires

Furthermore, as always, the winners of the Rok Cup Italia, in addition to forging the championship title, will have access by right to the Rok Cup Superfinal 2022 as qualified drivers, i.e. they will receive a reserved seat and free registration, free tires for the race (from qualifying to the finals), two overnight stays for the driver offered by the Promoter and meal tickets to be used on the track on race days.

There will also be events of an international nature.

Two major events are also scheduled for the 2022 season and they will involve Rokkers from all over Europe and the world: the Rok Cup Euro and the Rok Cup Superfinal.

The Rok Cup Euro, which was highly appreciated by the participants of the first edition, will also be re-launched in 2022 exactly on July 16-17 on the Kart Arena circuit in Cheb, in the Czech Republic.

The Rok Cup Superfinal, on the other hand, will, as always, be the most important and awaited event of the season and, as usual, will take place in October on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato. For drivers with an Italian license, the admission constraint will remain, i.e. participation in at least 5 rounds of the Rok Cup Italia championship. Details will follow shortly.

The prize pool will be substantial for both events.

From a regulatory point of view, no significant changes are expected, the new regulations are being drafted but the regulatory stability that distinguishes the Rok Cup single-brand trophy will be maintained.

For the Mini Rok category, considering the success achieved in 2021, the concept that provides for the admission of a limited number of Mini Rokkers, 34, with the assignment of the engines by drawing lots, is reconfirmed. The engines will be provided, for each appointment, by the Vortex organization. The drivers will compete in each race with their chassis and, starting from the official free practice, they will have to use the engines supplied by Vortex after drawing lots.

The Rok Talk Show has also been confirmed for the 2022 season.

The Rok Talk Show is the post-race appointment dedicated to the single-brand Rok and hosted by Mara Sangiorgio, journalist of Sky Sport F1. The initiative was very much liked by the Rok world and for this reason it will also be proposed again for the new season at the end of each round of the Rok Cup Italy.

All these are just previews of a new season that promises to be intense and exciting!
