[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he 2016 season is just around the corner and Ron White Racing is ready to attack the year strong. The Northern California operation is coming off a successful 2015 on and off the track, working with drivers of all ages and established a better connection in the karting market. With the new season on the horizon, Ron White Racing is establishing its schedule to compete at the top events along the California coast, along with representing itself on the national scene, including the addition of full Rotax support.
New for the 2016 season is Ron White Racing as a United States Rotax Dealer and Service Center. RWR is now selling the Rotax EVO engines while also serving as an authorized service center to work on engines for the team customers, and others looking to receive the same customer support that is unmatched.
“Rotax racing is big part of the regional and national racing here in northern California,” stated Ron White. “The Sanzaru Games Karting Championship is a major focus of our team program, along with Stock Moto competition. Adding the Rotax portion of our operation gives us the opportunity to grow as a race team, and welcome more customers interested in the Rotax Max Challenge, known throughout the world.”
2015 provided Ron White Racing with success at the local, regional and national level. Patrick O’Neil and Kevin Woods represented the team in the Stock Honda Masters division at the Sanzaru Games Karting Championship at Sonoma Raceway. O’Neil finished fourth in the championship

standings with three victories on the season, with Woods improving each weekend out to end up sixth in the title chase. Micro Max driver Owen McAllister won three times on the season toward his vice-champion position. Dakota White was fifth in Junior Rotax championship, placing inside the top-five against stout competition all season.
White himself continued his career behind the wheel with another run at the top level in the sport - Superkarts! USA Fikse Wheels Pro Tour. The CRG pilot paced with the best in North America and from around the world through the five-round championship series, finishing fifth in the championship chase. The RWR owner also scored a victory at the Sanzaru Games Karting Championship finale. As a whole, the RWR team also showed well at the biggest karting event in the world - the SKUSA SuperNationals XIX - in a number of categories.
The focus now turns to the 2016 season with another slate of series and events on the schedule for Ron White Racing. The Sanzaru Games Karting Championship will continue to be the featured program for the operation. Nine races at the Simraceway Performance Karting Center from April to the end of October provide the best regional racing in Northern California, and RWR is the right team to work with each weekend. The team is set to follow the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour once again, traveling to Arizona in May, Indiana in July, and the SuperNationals XX in Las Vegas this November. Ron White Racing will also hit selected California ProKart Challenge and the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix - where RWR has notched victories the last few years.
