Lots of spectacle and overtakes on the occasion of the sixth and penultimate round of the Easykart Trophy: under the artificial lights of the Ala Karting Circuit, the Easydrivers were the protagonists of qualifying, sprint races and highly competitive finals. The winners of the Trentino round were Andrii Kruglyk (Easykart 60), Alessandro De Gaetano (Easykart 100), Andrea Sorbello (Easykart 125), Marco Beretta (Easykart Senior) and Marco Maestranzi (BMB Challenge).

Easykart 60: fifth victory out of six races FOR Andrii Kruglyk
Andrii Kruglyk increasingly undisputed leader in the overall standings with his fourth consecutive victory, the fifth out of six races. A success obtained at the end of a duel between Kruglyk and Julian Frasnelli: a 12-lap show, a confrontation that was resolved in favour of the Ukrainian driver by just 255 thousandths. An "encore" offered by Andrii and Julian, after the fantastic challenge at the Euro Trophy in Wackersdorf (Germany) on July 2, a race won by Frasnelli by just 3 thousandths. On the third step of the podium Leonardo Marogna, fourth place for Daniel Brunner and fifth for Leonardo Lanza.

Easykart 100: Alessandro De Gaetano's first success of the season
After four podiums out of five races, the first victory of the year for Alessandro De Gaetano arrived: an uncertain final until the end with De Gaetano who won with an advantage of 323 thousandths over Gabriel Moretto, excellent second and again on the podium after the retirement at 7 Laghi. Third position for Tomas Vancik, fourth and fifth place respectively for Dylan Turri and Antonio Cocchianella. Sixth was the other title contender Alex Brunner.

Easykart 125: Andrea Sorbello returns to the top step of the podium
Andrea Sorbello broke the spell that saw a different winner at each round of the season. For Sorbello, in fact, it was the second victory after the one obtained in Lonato on the occasion of the fourth round: Andrea crossed the line with more than 2”7 of margin on the driver in second place, applying as one of the favourites to conquer the final title. Great uncertainty behind him with Francesco Ruga who finished in second position with less than a three-tenth gap on Riccardo Pollastri, an excellent third. Federico Malvestiti remained off the podium for just over two tenths, fifth place for Marco Pirovano.

The Ala round also saw the great return to the paddock of Fiorenzo Cunati, owner of CF Racing, the historic team of the Easykart circus, absent in the last rounds following a bad accident. All of us of the Easykart and Birel ART staff are happy to see you again in our paddock, to experience our sport and to share our passion together! Fiorenzo would like, through us, to thank the entire paddock for the warm welcome given to him throughout the weekend.

Easykart Senior: second consecutive victory for Marco Beretta
"He won in Castelletto and he wins in Ala!" Marco Beretta is back on the top step of the podium for the second consecutive time, the third of the year after the one obtained in the inaugural round in Jesolo: the leader in the general standings thus starts the last round of the Easykart Trophy as favourite for the final victory. Second place for the other Marco: in fact, Marco Sertore finished the weekend in second position and will certainly have his say even in the last stage of the trophy in September!

BMB Challenge: Marco Maestranzi returns to success!
After abstinence in two finals, Marco Maestranzi is back to victory in the Easykart premier class: for Marco this is the fourth success of the season, the seventh ever in BMB! A victory obtained at the end of 18 intense laps thanks to an excellent Andrea Calabrese, who finished second at 949 thousandths from the winner: for Andrea it was the first career podium in this category, in his debut season. Another "first time" also came for Filippo Ziccardi, extraordinary third at the end of a final and a competitive weekend. Fourth Daniele D’Urso, fifth Giuseppe Gaglianò.

60 Academy: the night experience for them too
As with the older brothers in the other categories, the baby drivers of the 60 Academy also experienced the thrills of taking to the track under the artificial lights of the Ala Karting Circuit. Led by the instructor Sabino De Castro, the baby drivers participated in the usual briefing, the extraction of the engines, the various sessions called phases and the award ceremony with the delivery of the celebratory cups to all participants.

The Circus Easykart now enters "summer break" mode: the Easy-drivers will meet on the Franciacorta Karting Track in Castrezzato (Brescia) on September 3 and 4 for the collective test session and on 10-11 for the last and decisive round of the Easykart Trophy: more information will be available soon.

Stay racing, stay happy… and think Easy!
