Briggs & Stratton Europe in agreement with CRG and the management of the Cremona circuit, in compliance with the directives of the CONI and the Italian Government for the limitation of the spread of the Corona Virus Covid-19, communicates that the 1st race of the Briggs Kart Championship series scheduled to Cremona Sunday 15th March, will be postponed until a later date. The suspension of sporting events and the placement in the "red" area of the Cremona area did not allow for other possibilities.

The organization of the Championship announces that the race will be replaced in the official 2020 calendar, which will remain divided into 7 events and 14 races (2 finals for each event). On the occasion of the 1st race of the season, the Awards of the Champions 2019 and the ranking reserved for the teams were also planned, ceremonies that will be recovered in all probability during the 1st race of the season. Safety and prevention are values that, at this moment, must have priority over everything and our hope is that in a short time we can restore a normal situation and return to the track with the enthusiasm and passion of all time.

The Cremona circuit will however be open for private tests, except for further communications and restrictions from the authorities. For more information, you can contact the Championship Organizing Secretariat: [email protected]
