A karting “classic”: the 23rd Andrea Margutti Trophy, organized by Parma Karting, took place for the first time on the South Garda Karting circuit in Lonato (Brescia, Italy). Around 225 verified drivers at the start, across four categories: KZ2, KF2 and KF3, plus the 60 Mini with its own Junior Trophy.

In KZ2 Fabian Federer (CRG/Maxter) was the one who triumphed in both final and prefinal. Closing behind him, in Sunday’s decisive race, were Massimo Dante (CKR/TM) and, on the rebound, Paolo Bonetti (Tony Kart/Vortex) who also scored best track lap.
In KF2, another CRG took the lead: Felice Tiene (CRG/Maxter) raced a great final, scoring also best lap and leading over the pack by over 3 seconds. Smoking wheels right behind him were Tom Joyner (LH/BMB) and Sami Luka (FA/TM) who closed respectively 2nd and 3rd.
The KF3 category featured two main actors over the weekend: in the final, Martin Kodric (FA/Vortex) manages to create a good  gap at the beginning and to defend it from the return of Lance Stroll (Zanardi/Parilla), contrary to what had happened in the prefinal, where the Canadian had been the one who conquered victory. Instead, in the final Kodric is the one who closes 1st. Alex Palou (CRG/BMB) follows in 3rd, ahead of Sitnikov (Tony Kart/BMB) and A. Lorandi (Tony Kart/Vortex).
In the 60 Mini final, Logan Sergeant (Tony Kart/LKE) takes off and wins, followed at the finish-line by Christian Cobellini (Top Kart/Parilla) and Simone Mazzotti (Parolin/LKE).
