WSK Euro Series rd 1, Lonato: OKJ Final - Rashid Al Dhaheri enchants everyone in the wet and takes of strength success

If in dry track conditions he was proving to be competitive, but not so much as to be in the top three of the final, with the wet Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin Motorsport - Parolin - TM Racing) he is undoubtedly the strongest in Lonato. Back on track after missing the last race in Sarno due to the infection from COVID-19, the UAE driver wins his third win of the season out of four races. Started second following his triumph in his pre-final, the Parolin Motorsport bishop slips to fourth position during the first lap, but on lap six he takes the lead and flies to victory, also signing the best time.

Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) crosses the finish line in second place more than five and a half seconds behind the leader. After dominating his pre-final and starting from pole in the final, the English driver is unable to appease Al Dhaheri's fury. The Tony Kart bishop thus obtains his second podium of the season and confirms himself as an absolute protagonist of the category.

Maxim Rehm (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex) is seen waving the checkered flag in third position, the same from which he started, but a five-second penalty deprives him of the podium and the German driver finds himself fourth.

Alexander Gubenko (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) also retains his fourth starting position until the finish, but even he receives a five-second penalty that relegates him to sixth place. The same fate falls to William Macintyre (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), who sees the fifth place fade and is eighth. The young Englishman still boasts an excellent first weekend with Birel ART colors and proves fast in all conditions.

Who benefits from all these penalties is undoubtedly Francesco Marenghi (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME), who after crossing the finish line in sixth position finds himself third and thus wins the first podium in WSK in OKJ. The Italian was the author of an excellent race, starting 11th and finding himself 13th at the end of the first lap and then recovering and conquering even the second best time of the final.

The fresh winner of the third round of the WSK Super Master Series Kirill Kutsov (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) is confirmed at the top of the standings, finishing fifth under the checkered flag.

Akshay Bohra (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), currently second in the WSK Super Master Series standings, closes in seventh place. Coming just behind him, in ninth position, the current leader of the WSK Super Master Series and talent in orbit Mercedes Alex Powell (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who puts a patch on a complicated weekend.

The top ten is closed by a surprising Nathan Schaap (Energy Corse - Energy Corse - TM Racing), who thus completes a weekend that began with 52nd place overall in qualifying and obtains his best result of the season.
