30 January 2018

Ready for the challenge of the WSK Super Master Series.

The WSK Super Master Series is about to start this coming weekend. The series will unfold in four rounds organized by WSK Promotion. The opener will take place in Adria (Rovigo, Italy) – the same venue that launched the new international karting season last weekend with the single race of the WSK Champions Cup.

Four rounds full of points to be awarded.
The series will kick off from the Adria Karting Raceway before going through the whole Italy once again: after Adria, the WSK Series will move to the South Garda Karting in Lonato (Brescia) on March 4th, the La Conca World Circuit of Muro Leccese (Lecce) on March 18th and the International Circuit of Sarno (Salerno) on April 8th. Drivers will earn points from Saturday on in each round, following the pecking order of qualifying heats. Further classification points will then be awarded on Sunday, based on the results of Prefinal and Final. All results will count for the final classification without mandatory discards. Moreover, the increasing point scoring scheme will make the quest for the title even more interesting, as happened last year in the  WSK Super Master Series.

More than 260 drivers hunting for the victory.

The entry list shows bigger numbers compared to the good opener held last weekend: more than 260 drivers, representing all the 5 Continents are a good indication of the karting spectacle that lies ahead in this coming weekend. All the drivers on the podium last Sunday at the WSK Champions Cup will be present this time around too and are ready to face the challenge of their rivals. Namely, the Dane Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) won OK leading the Italian Lorenzo Ferrari (Exprit-Vortex) and Barbados’ Zane Maloney (FA Kart-Vortex); the Estonian Paul Aron, triumphed in OK Junior, as his team mate from Britain Harry Thompson (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) was second and the Russian Kirill Smal (Tony Kart-Vortex) third; the Romanian driver Daniel Vasile (DR-Modena-Bridgestone), led the French Tom Leuillet and Adrien Renaudin (both on Sodi-TM) in KZ2; the Italian Andrea Antonelli (Energy-TM) won 60 Mini proceeding the Norwegian Martinius Stenshorne (Parolin-TM-Vega) and the Italian Brando Badoer (Parolin-TM
