[dropcap]T[/dropcap]wo hundred drivers arrived at the Adria Karting Raceway for the last event of the WSK Super Master Series: impressive figures which prove how high the expectations are for the performance of the five categories admitted to the competition. On Sunday 22nd May, in Adria (Italy), all the participants will be able to aim at the top of the standings in each category. The competition started this afternoon with Qualifying, at the end of the sessions of free practice which livened up the facility in northern Italy since yesterday. Now it is time for the real challenge for the drivers and the international teams taking part in the event; they are all working hard in order to find the best set up for the karts. The first series of heats started this evening, but it is only a taste of what is still to come. The racing weekend will be available also live in streaming thanks to WSK Production: the appointment is on Sunday 22nd on wsk.tv, beginning with the Pre-finals at 10.30am.

ARDIGÒ AND CELENTA, ATTACKS AND STRATEGY IN KZ AND KZ2
Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), leader in KZ, has already shown what his intention is: he set the best time with 48”512 in KZ. Moreover, the Italian driver beat into second position a champion such as Davide Forè (Righetti Ridolfi-TM): there are great expectations for gripping battles on track. In KZ2, the wild card Francesco Celenta (Formula K-TM) put in a terrific performance and finished ahead of the Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex), second in the ranking. The current leader, Giacomo Pollini (CRG-TM), for the time being is only in 22nd position.

BASZ PUTS ALL AT STAKE IN KZ
It is going to be a tough weekend for Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega); he needs to close the gap from the 9th place in the OK standings, and the Polish is eager to give all he can: he set the best time with 48”497, ahead of the Finnish Konsta Lappalainen (Tony Kart-Vortex). The Spanish Pedro Hiltbrand’s (CRG-Parilla) performance was not as good: the current leader of the category placed 10th. Fortunately for him, also his closest pursuer, the American Logan Sargeant (FA Kart-Vortex), put in a bad performance and finished in 13th position.

HAUGER IS THE PACEMAKER IN THE OK JUNIOR
In OK Junior the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (CRG-Parilla-Vega) has set the pace and seems bound to recover from his current 14th place in the standings. He set the best time with 49”485, while the Belgian Ulysse De Pauw
(BirelArt-Parilla) placed second and seems to be the most dangerous rival for the leader of the category, the Maroccan Sami Taoufik (FA Kart-Vortex). The driver from Marrakech, only 11th today, is beginning to feel hounded also because the Danish Noah Watt (Tony Kart-Vortex), second in the standings, set the fourth time, behind the Brazilian Caio Collet (BirelArt-Parilla). Collet and De Pauw had a good start in the Heats, scoring a victory each in the first two races in schedule.

MINÌ, THE LEADER OF THE 60 MINI, DEFENDS HIS POSITION TOMORROW
Qualifying starts tomorrow for the 60 Mini, which is currently led by the Sicilian Gabriele Minì (Energy-TM-Vega).
