The World leader in karting, Sodikart never rests on its laurels. The spirit of competition has been in its DNA from the beginning as evidenced by its everyday culture of creativity and innovation at all levels of its business. On an enlarged space and reorganised to show its status, the French brand has once again kicked off the 2016 season at the German show in Offenbach, the biggest show entirely dedicated to karting in the world.

Besides presenting the Rental and Racing ranges, customer reception has benefited from the expansion in 2016. The biggest global karting manufacturer was able to highlight its experience of over 30 years and its ongoing quest for quality, the result of incessant work on research and development, both in Leisure and Competition.
2016 Sodi Rental Range
The undisputed leader in the world of leisure karts, in 2016 Sodi offers an evolution of its flagship models known for their ease on the track and serviceability, the GT4 R, GT5 R and the RT8 A. The "new generation" is a consolidation of the improvements with a series of technical and aesthetic improvements to make it even more enjoyable to use. The 2-Drive has achieved a great breakthrough on the market for two-seater karts and its usage continues to spread, while the electric karts RTX and LRX remain top sellers in their sector.
The EMS breakthrough
The big news in 2016 is the launch of a new system for regulating recreational karts. The EMS (Equality Management System) has been designed to very easily balance the performance of Sodi karts in the framework of recreational races while simplifying the work for the pit crew. It is a small electronic box and a digital display, to be included on new models equipped with Honda 270cc and

390cc engines.
Option 1 allows a rapid calibration accurate on a full fleet of machines so as to offer equivalent performance to the tenth of a second. Option 2 is a virtual lead box to compensate for the weight differences between the drivers in the same race within seconds.
These settings are reserved for the circuit personnel and are protected by a special key. The EMS ensures extremely simple equality that has never before been reached between those competing in recreational races.
2016 Sodi Racing Range
2015 marked the revival of Sodi Racing Team at the highest level of KZ competition with many key successes, through close collaboration with the Research & Development department at Sodikart. Sodi drivers completed a beautiful formation finish in 3rd, 4th and 5th places in the World Championship at Le Mans.
The work done during the season at international races has led to progress across the range. The 2016 version of the famous Sigma KZ is a true copy of the model used during the World Championship, made with tubes of 30 mm in diameter. The Sigma RS also benefits from a new design of the front part to further improve its performance, and also facilitate entry of corners. The goal is to enable all drivers to use the potential of their chassis for the duration of the race, a gain reinforced by the set-up possibilities of the steering column.
