After 4 years using chassis produced by Parolin, the new signature MAD karts launched this year are 100% made in IPK, the same group that manufactures Praga and OK1 karts: a name that is a guarantee of quality and expertise. While IPK-licensed, however, MAD karts are developed according to the technical guidelines defined by owners Marino and Andrea.
The MAD brand offers a complete line of chassis models, from the Mini to the KF and from the KZ to the DD2, designed specifically for the one-make series powered by Rotax engines. The KF chassis is made entirely of 30 mm diameter tubes, while the KZ comes in 2 versions: all 30 mm and all 32 mm. Both shifter versions have a classic shape and each comes with a bar behind the seat, that in the 30 mm version is set straighter, to yield enchanced rigidity and traction.

Besides participating to a couple of WSK races at the beginning of the season, this year MAD karts are competing in bothe the Italian Championship and the Swiss Championship, where they immediately claimed the limelight in the opening round in Castelletto di Branduzzo with Mike Zuercher's 2nd place finish. The 2015 track schedule also includes Rotax races in the DD2 category.
The main objective of this new name "on the block", backed by the vast experience of its owners and the TRT team, is to keep growing, investing on young drivers who are "hungry" for victories and eager to collaborate on a shared project.
Growth is also a market goal and in this sense the MAD crew is working to develop a global distribution and sales network. They've let us know that retailers interested in joining their "crazy" adventure and bringing the MAD brand to their regional area are more than welcome.
