Over the years, the Padua-based company has made a name for itself in the karting world as a quality brand, collecting successes from Italy to overseas (like the New Zealand KZ2 title with driver Matt Hamilton)
CKR has always been driven by a “small steps” philosophy, focusing on quality development, rather than aiming straight for “big” numbers. This approach also shows in the new chassis released for 2015: instead of revolutionizing things from the past, CKR worked on evolving and enhancing specific features to adapt to market trends and client requests. The main improvements include: rounded rear bearing flanges, Sniper caster adjustment system, newly positioned seat struts, 25 mm 11 degree stub axles with 4 Ackermann positions, and inside frame teflon bushings for the side pods.
In terms of brakes, CKR decided to continue using the model in production.
Instead, the big change has to do with the sticker design, intended to give CKR karts a strong brand identity: “sharper”, and characterized by a new “true blue“ look.
In terms of the 2015 racing program, Italian driver Giacomo Pollini has been confirmed as the leading official.
