There are also very capable welders, but with robots there is a consistency that is not always guaranteed manually. This is why welding is robotic for both production and racing chassis. It must be said, for the sake of clarity, that there are no differences between a manual welding done in a workmanlike manner and on carried out by a robot, so it is not true that a robot-welded chassis is better than a hand-welded one and vice versa. With the robot you only have a guarantee of greater consistency in production and in terms of quality.
