If I have tires with a lower-air pressure, I will have a more stable setup Kart during the race
An extremely experienced technician, for many years references the point of Haase, as he is presently active in OTK
Well done!

Sure! The least amount of air contained with a rim and tire, the pressure increase will be much less when the tire’s temperature rises. Consequently, we will have far less variation of the tire pressure itself.
On the contrary, if I need to quickly raise the tires’ pressure, it will be useful to mount a larger rim which allows for a greater quantity of air pressure inside the tire.

INCORRECT!

The reasoning behind this is actually just the opposite: a richer carburation certainly allows for the increase of the maintenance intervals, although it is important to point out that the concept is not valid for the main engine block itself. As for the pistons, instead, a slightly richer carburation helps reliability and allows to extend its life span of usability.

Yes, that is correct. Especially in the junior categories, where the engine’s power is much less, I recommend using a set-up which allows the kart more flexibility when exiting a turn, so as to facilitate the smoothness in acceleration. Of course, it is not a permanent system to use all the time, but many times it depends on the chassis model and it can certainly be a good starting point to define a basic set-up.
