RB Racing’s Karting team has made official his debut in the KZ gear class.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he news was expected since the announcement of the collaboration with the TM and it became real after confirming the collaboration agreement with Mirko Torsellini (a driver always linked to the Pesaro’s house). The Tuscan driver has a great experience in KZ, where the last year he conquered the 2nd place in the Italian Championship and he was recently 3rd in the European Championship, won a WSK Final Cup and achieved several important places in the World Championships. Mirko’s agonistic programme with the RB Racing colours include the participation to the Italian Championship, the German Championship and the World Championship; about the technical equipment, Mirko will have Exprit chassis of the OTK Group and TM engines, managed by Viti Racing on the track. The collaboration with Mirko Torsellini will be only the first step of RB Racing’s involvement in the KZ classes, as the technical manager Mariano De Faveri confirms:

“Our technical staff and especially our engine partner have an important know-how in this division, so it was natural for us thinking about opening to the KZ, beside of the 60 Mini, OK Junior and OK. The choice of Mirko allows us to have a strong driver in the team to make quickly a specific experience with the Exprit chassis, and soon he will have a team mate, kkeping the focus on the Italian Championship and DKM in Germany. We are sure we can make an excellent job together and we can’t wait to start this new challenge”.
Also Mirko Torsellini commented this collaboration in a very positive way: “I’m very happy to start working with RB Racing, as they are one of the most dynamic and ambitious companies currently on the market, but also and especially because I will have the possibility to work with Mariano De Faveri, that I consider one of the most prepared technicians in International karting, besides having at disposal a very competitive package thanks to the couple Exprit-TM”.
