The karting community is in grief for the death of 14 year old Antonio Laudato, son of 1999 World Champion and former Birel ace Francesco Laudato.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he karting community mourns for the death of Antonio and embraces his father Francesco, 1999 Formula C World Champion, 2005 Super ICC World Cup winner, and four times European champion, always with Birel.
Francesco Laudato shared the terrible news through Facebook, leaving everyone shocked: "My Antonio has flown into the sky. I don't know what to believe, what to think... Maybe the Heavens needed an angel. I love you" (Il mioAntonio è volato in cielo. Non so cosa credere, cosa pensare... Forse avevano bisogno di un angelo TVB).
