All FDA drivers, driven by the team manager Massimo Rivola, have visited the OTK factory headquarters in Prevalle.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he partnership between OTK Group and the Ferrari Diver Academy started about a year ago, with an official presentation on the Lonato track. Since then, on several occasions, some of the young drivers base in Maranello were seen under the Tony Kart tent. Today, to strengthen the firmness of the partnership, all FDA drivers, driven by the team manager Massimo Rivola, have visited the OTK factory headquarters in Prevalle.



Antonio Fuoco, Guan Yu Zhou, Charles Leclerc, Marcus Armstrong and Enzo Fittipaldi started their visit from the production department, led by the OTK Kart Group President Roberto Robazzi.

The FDA team was able to follow step by step the manufacturing of the OTK group chassis (which produces the Tony Kart, Kosmic, FA, Exprit and Redspeed brands): laser cutting department; welding; machine tools and robots; assembly department.

The visit also continued in the new building of the racing team where, among others, Matteo Viganò, fresh winner of the European KZ2 Championship in Genk, and Simo Puhakka were working on their racing karts. With them, Team Manager Giacomo Aliprandi was also present.

The visit ended in the engine test bed, where a test was in progress.

The interest with which FDA drivers experienced the day was remarkable, touching with their hands the very great technology and the absolute precision that characterizes the entire OTK productive chain.

Charles Lecrerc (FIA Formula 2 driver): "It's the first time I come to OTK's headquarter. It's a really impressive structure. It's all different from what I used to see when I was in karting - it's all very technologic. It was definitely interesting to be here and see how a chassis is made"

Enzo Fittipaldi (F.4 driver): “This is the first time I come to OTK. Indeed, it is the first time I come to a European kart factory! Compared to the US kart I was used to, the environment is completely different. I was impressed by the work they do here to produce chassis."

Marcus Armstrong (F.4 driver): “It's nice to come back here again. I've competed in kart with OTK, and I'm glad I could go back and review all those people who are like a family. It's fantastic!".

Guan Yu Zhou (FIA Formula 3 driver):" I've been here once, but it's always nice to come back and review these people. It is great to see how chassis are produced”.
