What are cookies
The Tkart.it website uses cookies. Cookies are text strings, consisting in letters and numbers, sent to the  devices of users by the websites they visit (so-called “first-party” cookies) or by third-party sites (“third-party cookies”), which are retransmitted to the same sites at each subsequent access. Cookies are used to streamline the analysis of web traffic or to signal when a specific site or part of it is visited, to distinguish visitors from each other in order to provide personalised content and help administrators improve the sites and the browsing experience of users. For simplicity, in this document, the term Cookie also refers to other types of active identifiers, such as Beacon and Pixel.

Through cookies we cannot access other information stored on your device, even if this is where the cookies are downloaded. Cookies cannot load codes of any kind, carry viruses or malware and are not harmful to the user’s terminal.

Below you can find all the information about the cookies installed through this site, and the necessary information on how to manage your preferences in this regard.

User consent
By connecting for the first time to any Tkart.it page , the user will see a brief information on the use of cookies. By clicking on the “OK” button and hearing this information, the user consents to our use of cookies, in the manner described in this Cookie Policy.

Through the selection tools made available, users can express their consent to the use of cookies by selecting or deselecting the categories of cookies they wish to authorise, in order to take advantage of the possibilities they offer while browsing.

By clicking on the “Accept all” button, users consent to our use of all the site’s cookies in the manner described in this Cookie Policy. By clicking on the “X” at the top right, the banner will close, refusing the use of cookies other than technical ones and those strictly functional to the use of the site. Finally, by clicking on the “Customise” button, users will be able to access the selection of cookies that are not necessary for the use they wish to consent to.

The site remembers the choice made by the user for 6 months (with justified exceptions) on the device used. Therefore the brief informative notice will not be repeated in subsequent connections from the same device. However, the user always has the option of revoking all or part of the consent already expressed, as explained in the “How to configure your terminal” section.

If you encounter technical problems related to the provision of consent, please contact us through the appropriate channels provided on this site to allow us to assist you.

Measurement Cookies (third-party statistics)
tkart.it uses Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service that uses cookies to collect and analyse information relating to user navigation. Neither Sorridi Editore or Google associate your IP address with other data in their possession to identify you directly. In addition, the “anonymizelp” option is applied to protect the privacy of users as much as possible, which requires the system to anonymize the last 8 digits of the user’s IP address in Google Analytics. In this way the complete IP address is never written to disk, effectively making the analysed data anonymous (for further technical specifications you can consult the page of the Google support site here ).

The information collected is processed directly by our systems in order to produce reports for the administrators of tkart.it, who use them to check the correct functioning of the services and the satisfaction rate of the proposed content.

If you wish to disable statistical cookies thus preventing Google Analytics from collecting data on your navigation, you can also download the appropriate function you can find here.

Tkart.it also uses Hotjar, a statistical service supplied by Hotjar Ltd that provides heat mapping services, used to identify which areas of a page are subject to the passage of the cursor or mouse clicks in order to detect which of them attract the greatest interest. These services allow the monitoring and analysis of traffic data and are used to model (adding anonymized data) the behaviour of Users.

Hotjar respects generic “do not track” headers. More Hotjar Information can be found here. By clicking here it is possible to exercise an opt-out.

Targeting and advertising (trackers, of third parties, with the prior consent of Users)
tkart.it uses Facebook pixel, an analytical tool that allows the measurement of the effectiveness of advertising campaigns carried out on Facebook and to show site users the most interesting advertisements for them, on this site or on the social network, based on the navigation activities carried out. If a user of the social network visits this site while connected to their account, this information may be associated with the account. For the same purposes, the Facebook Remarketing cookie is also used, referable to the same third party.

Similarly and for the same purposes, with reference to the Google network, we use cookies to optimise and offer advertising based on user navigation and to monitor Google AdS conversions. For more information, you can click here or go to the Google dashboard here.

Improvement of experience (third parties trackers with the prior consent of Users)
These are set up to allow you to share our content with your contacts (such services could, for example, correspond to the “Share” buttons on Facebook or “Share” on Twitter). They can monitor the  browser of users on other sites and create profiles of their interests. This could have an impact on the content and messages displayed on other websites visited by the user. If these cookies are not accepted, it is not possible to use or view these sharing tools.

Change your choices or configure your terminal to not receive cookies
Should users wish to change their choices regarding consent with respect to cookies, they can, at any time, reopen the selection panel of the choices made by clicking on the item “Update your choices on cookies” in the site’s footer.

As an alternative, users may configure their browser to disable the reception of cookies. However, by disabling cookies, the site or some of its functions may not work properly. To change the way cookies are used, to block their reception or to delete the cookies on your terminal, simply enter the settings on your browser. Most browsers allow the acceptance or rejection of all cookies or acceptance of only some (for example from specific sites).

Although the steps are similar, the cookie configuration method varies for each browser. For details on the procedure to follow, users can visit the website www.aboutcookies.org or consult the ‘Help’ section of their browsers.
