PRESS RELEASE - TKART - At the Winter Cup  CKR ratified WE ARE ALWAYS competitive.

With the POLE POSITION of the group and a 2° BEST TIME in the QP, our Racing Team was prepared for a promising weekend. Unfortunately, the rain and the inevitable collisions caused by wet track have decreased significantly the race’s level.

However, Giacomo Pollini once again defends with fierocity CKR’s colors. In the Q1 with wet track a small contact has slidied out the spoiler of our chassis causing us 30 seconds of penalty that made us lose our well-deserved 7th position to finish 17th.

In the Q2 with better track conditions but with a complicated start we finished 7th obtaining the BEST LAP!

Q3, in optimal track conditions, Giacomo Pollini was able to shine from the excellent start WINNING the race brightly! In front of world champions!

In the Pre-final with the penalty we started in 13th position, with the wet track. In the battle to win positions; once passed an opponent, he has hitted us and Pollini spinned out  and came in an unexpected 25th position. But our Pollini, who is not a surrender, fought again to end in a honored 13th position.

It was Marc Freimann’s first race with CKR’s colors in KZ. Also for him the weather conditions were an obstacle. Nevertheless, he took advantage to adapt his own performance to CKR’s setups. He missed the prefinal but reached the BEST CHRONO in the Second Chance. Let’s give him time to settle in for the next appointment in the Margutti Trophy.

It was a pity about the rain and the collitions but this is racing and our goal to demonstrate that we are ALWAYS COMPETITIVE has been achieved!
