In the 2015 edition of the CIK-FIA KFJ World Championship, Ricciardo Kart Factory Team driver Rasmus Lindh was forced to withdraw from the Final, after delivering a highly competitive weekend.

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]ashing from eighteenth place, the Swedish driver achieved a great start and immediately leaped several positions ahead. Then, on lap eleven, when he was in full contention for the top 10, a technical problem forced him to withdraw.
The positive thing is that Lindh was one of the fastest on track all weekend. After a tough Qualifying, in the Heats he achieved several recoveries and fought for top positions and the best lap. Then, in the Prefinal, he charged from fifteenth to ninth.

technical glitch took us out of contention. It’s a shame, because we were holding the second best lap of the race until our withdrawal!”
Gianluca Beggio, General Manager: “Overall, it was a postive event, because our karts were highly competitive. It’s too bad for the technical problem, because we could’ve made the podium. In fact, Rasmus was one of the fastest on rack and scored the second best lap of the race. The constant developments that Ricciardo Kart brought on track, in collaboration with Birel ART, allowed us to reach the most important event of the year in top shape and this gives us a huge boost of confidence for 2016.”
