  • David Trefilov (SRP Racing Team - Maranello - TM Racing) confirms the speed shown yesterday and clearly had the upper hand on his rivals in the final of the KZ2 of the last and decisive round of the FIA Karting European Championship. The German takes full advantage of the pole obtained at the end of the Qualifying Heats and after an excellent start he leads the whole race up to the checkered flag unchallenged.

  • Meanwhile, behind him the fight for the title unfolded, certainly not without twists. Viktor Gustavsson (Leclerc By Lennox Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), in the end, respects the predictions of the day before and comes out as the winner, thanks to the second place two laps from the end against Kristijan Habulin (TB Kart - TB Kart - TM Racing).

  • The Swede managed to keep himself out of trouble amidst the fight for the top positions, which got really intense as the laps went by. In the second lap, Simone Cunati (Modena Kart ASD - Birel ART - TM Racing) also managed to briefly put himself up to the second position against Gustavsson. But the Swede replied immediately and Cunati came back in 4th behind Habulin. On lap six, then, a contact at the end of the second straight with Leonardo Marseglia (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) definitively put an end to the title hopes of the Italian driving for Modena Kart, who was still in the running for the championship until then.

  • On the twelfth lap, the race of Senna Van Walstjin (CPB Sport - Sodi - TM Racing) also comes to an end. After an unsuccessful overtaking attempt on Gustavsson, Senna spins and takes out also Tom Leuillet (Praga Racing Team - Praga)

  • Out of all this tussle, Arthur Carbonnel (CPB Sport - Sodi - TM Racing) and Giuseppe Palomba (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) managed to gain 11 and 12 positions respectively to cross the finish line in 4th and 5th place .

  • Behind, Jean Nomblot (CPB Sport - Sodi - TM Racing) moves up to sixth place while Hubert Petit (CPB Sport - Sodi - TM Racing) and Valentino Fritsch (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) complete a comeback of 19 e 10 positions respectively. Lorenzo Giannoni (CPB Sport - Sodi - TM Racing) closes the top ten behind Paavo Tonteri (SC Performance - Tony Kart - Vortex). The Finn, who started from third place, was no longer able to recover after having lost ground in the early stages of the race
