These are key days for the CIK-FIA World Championships. Last weekend, the last round of the Under 18 was contended under the rain on the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno, Italy.

Getting 3rd place in the Sarno round was enough for Matthew Graham (Zanardi/FIM)to graduate as Under 18 World champion for 2011, thus succeeding to Jake Dennis. The race was won by Antonio Giovinazzi (Scuderia PCR), followed by Mortensen, second and Graham, third. In the Academy, also in Sarno, race and title went to Charles Leclerc, driving a Parolin/FIM kart, like everyone else.
The fifth and last round of the World series in KF1 will take place next weekend on the Suzuka circuit in Japan. The FIA has issued a press release communicating its decision to convert the initial disqualification given to the standings leader Nyck De Vries in final 2 of round three in Genk, for the contact with Camponeschi (CLICK HERE for the video of the contact and the TKart poll coverage), into a 10 second penalty. The verdict places De Vries in seventh place in final 2, thus giving him an extra 18 points of advantage over Alexander Albo  in the general championship standings.
