Preparations are underway at the South Garda Karting circuit ahead of the 23rd Winter Cup, that is going to be the first international appointment of the season in Lonato del Garda. The circuit will have a “stellar” 2018 calendar featuring several top class national and international karting events.

The circuit of Lonato is improving its structure with some further updates following the extension of the circuit to 1.200 meters and the new services dedicated to staff, among which the new paddock, new mechanics grand stands, CCTV camera system, and the innovative barcode system with scanner for tyres. Recently, a big roof on the pre-grid zone has been completed to offer a better service to drivers and a new press room to provide better facilities to journalists. These two important improvements contribute to confirm the South Garda Karting circuit as landmark in Italian and European Karting.

The 23rd Winter Cup, race scheduled for next February 15-18, is approaching fast with classes Mini Rok, OK-Junior, OK and KZ2 on track. The entry list has already gone beyond level 250 drivers, and is once more going to be very important, packed with protagonists in all grades. In KZ2 more than 80 drivers are currently entered, 50 in OK, 75 in OK-Junior and 60 in Mini Rok. Entry procedures are available at www.sothgardakarting.it.
