Last weekend the 7-time World Champion of Formula 1 Michael Schumacher took to the South Garda Karting track in Lonato (Brescia, Italy) to train for the upcoming tests of Formula 1 for a new season again at the wheel of a MercedesGP. The karts he raced with, as always, were the “trusted” Tony Kart with which he’s developed a special bond over the past few years.
The German champion was assisted by the Tony Kart Racing Team, complete with official drivers busy doing track tests. Schumacher has already done several runs on karts(CLIC HERE to read the news of one the last appearances) and this time the German champ raced the KZ shifter kart and, for a few laps, the KF2.
Fun and training, but also top-level face-off for Michael Schumacher: in fact, on track there were also many of the big of international karting from all the different teams, getting ready for the first big race of the season: the 17th Winter Cup that will take place on Februaru 19th on the Lonato circuit.
