In qualifying practice, the British Arvid Lindblad (EXPRIT / TM RACING / VEGA) beat Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR / IAME / VEGA) by less than a tenth, American Ugo Ugochukwu (FA KART / VORTEX / VEGA) was third.
