The Racing Team is ready to go down to the track in Genk for the closing challenge of the CIK-FIA European Championship for KZ and KZ2 categories.

We will start from the top positions at the third race of the European Championship of the most prestigious category, the KZ, thanks to Flavio Camponeschi leading the absolute rating after his victory in both rounds run so far, in Sarno and Zuera.

As always, in the Italian and Spanish races, our Racer 401 chassis powered by Vortex proved to be highly competitive, letting both our drivers to absolutely play a leading role, showing off all their great value. Camponeschi gained the victory twice and Ardigò always reached the podium, classing third and second. So, the day before the race on the Belgian circuit in Genk, Camponeschi and Ardigò will be starting from the first two positions of the rating occupying the first and second positions, with 67 and 56 scores.

The racing team did a great job and the result, as we said, is enabling us to start the decisive race of the European Championship from the first two positions in the rating.

The performance of our chassis has really been very high quality in KZ2 as well, where Luca Corberi and Andreas Fasberg are occupying the second and third positions respectively. Alessio Piccini, slightly backward in the rating, has great potential to reach the top in the final race. Our drivers have a lead of 17 points from the top and on the Belgian technical circuit Corberi and Fasberg will be able to aim at the partial success.

The race official timetable is starting Thursday (9th July) with free practices and with the qualifying practices on Friday afternoon.

The qualifying heats will be run Saturday and Sunday there will be the climax of the race with prefinals and finals which will award the CIK-FIA European Championship title.
