PRESS RELEASE - SCUDERIA PCR --
AFTER THE EXCELLENT SEASON START WITH LORENZO TRAVISANUTTO’s THIRD PLACE PODIUM AT THE WINTER CUP IN KFJ, CESARE SPERANZA’S RACING TEAM GOES ON TO COLLECT NICE RESULTS AT THE LA CONCA TRACK
Muro Leccese (Lecce, Italy). PCR lined up 3 drivers for the first round of the WSK Champions Cup in the KFJ field and rewarded team owner Cesare Speranza with an overall positive outcome.
Lorenzo Travisanutto made it to the final, after behaving more than well in the qualifyings and the heats. The Friuli-born Italian driver, at his debut as official team driver, seems to be at ease with the material and the speed displayed on track is certainly the most comforting sign of this.
Lorenzo also collected victory in one of the heats, dominating the whole race and giving a glimpse of what all he is capable of. “The chassis is good - says Travisanutto – and I feel in good shape. The team’s project is certainly an ambitious one. In the pre-final I was unlucky and this conditioned my performance in the final. But we’re still early into the season and improvement will be our main goal throughout. I am very confident”.
Murilo and Marcel Della Coletta rounded off the list of “black and yellow” entries for La Conca weekend. The Brazilian brothers are at their karting debut and decided to partner up with Scuderia PCR to grow and develop their driving talent.
PCR will be back on track in Muro Leccese next weekend, for the second and final round of the WSK Champions Cup.
