04/04/2018 – German Team Mücke Motorsport this year will participate to the Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth with three drivers: Ido Cohen, Niklas Krutten and William Alatalo. The first two drivers will compete in the Rookie Trophy, which includes young talents that have not participated to more than three Racing Weekends in any Series or National/International Formula Championship.
Ido Cohen, Israelian, 16 years old, was born and grown up in Tel-Aviv, and has raced in karting in Europe.
“It is a great honour for me to be part of Mücke Motorsport Team, with which F1 drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Pascal Wehrlein have raced. Since the start I have felt at home in the team, with friendly and professional people. Driving a Formula 4 car gives amazing sensations and I cannot wait for the 2018 season to start”, comments Cohen.
German Niklas Krütten, 15 years old, has started his motorsports career already at the age of 8 in the KTC Mini Kart Cup. Relevant have also been international races, like the participation of the driver to CIK-FIA World and European Championships.
Boss of the Team Peter Mücke comments: “With Niklas and Ido we have two potential winners of the Rookie Trophy”.
William Alatalo, Finnish, 15 years old, will participate to the whole Italian F4 Championship. At the age of 7 Alatalo participates to his first kart race, and after that competes in the Finnish Junior Championship and becomes in 2014 National Champion, while in 2016 he wins the Finnish title in the category OK Junior.
“As of today, my trip in motorsports has been very positive, and now it reaches the highest point with the involvement in Mücke Motorsport Team. I look forward to the challenge of the Italian Formula 4 Championship, and I hope I will be able to contribute to the success of the team”, declares Alatalo.
