The agreement covers all Rotax Max races in America promoted by the MaxSpeed Group.

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]rom 1 January 2017, the used tyres in the Rotax Max Challenge in America will be Vega tyres. This announcement is made by the MaxSpeed Group (here the official press release gorotax.com), leading importer of the Austrian company’s engines.

The new tyres will be called "MAX One by Vega" and will be available in three different compounds: Hard, Medium and Soft, plus the Rain version to be used on wet tracks.

This is an agreement of historical importance. In fact, the Rotax championships have always been linked to Mojo tyres, directly connected to the Austrian giant. The change of direction by one of the largest Rotax importers has definitely caused a stir.

Furthermore, the collaboration between Vega Tyres and the MaxSpeed Group does not only regard the supply of tyres for Rotax events, but also the marketing of the Italian company’s tyres: in fact, MaxSpeed will become the official Vega dealer for the United States.
