Of all the karting talents I met and raced against, Fisichella was one of my favorites. He ended up not winning a lot in karting, but I really liked his style. It was a show every time he was on track!

Back then it was all different, driving was not as clean as today and he stood out in this sense. Sure, his lines were a little “dirty”, but he was a pleasure to watch. He was positioned just right, aggressive, ultra-fast... I don’t think anyone beat him on the single lap and he’s known to have made miracles happen with vehicles that weren’t exactly your top models on the market. He was truly impressive.
