The lastest chassis that G.P. Racing, an Italian company from Piacenza that has always used CRG for the welding of their frames, has had approved is the GP14. Made entirely using 32 mm diameter tubes, it has two removable bars at the front and rear in order to change the set-up.
The adjustment of the "C" is performed by the Sniper system, which simply and effectively lets you change caster and caber separately.
In an era in which the design of the frames produced by various companies is always very similar, the GP14 stands out due to one major difference: in the tank area, the tubes only need one curve to connect the front and rear axles. This feature, according to the owner Giuseppe Cavaciuti, allows the front to benefit from greater directionality when entering bends, thereby helping the driver to position the kart on entry.
Another change (already seen on the CRG chassis) is the metal insert placed in front of the left bearing cassette: when it is attached, the stiffness of the chassis increases; when it is removed, the rear axle is released.
