Temperature, tyre pressure, stopwatch. Anyone who has been in the paddock of a karting circuit, or even just knows a little bit about motorsport, knows how every mechanic who works in a garage, a starting grid with the circuit closed, always keeps three tools at hand to measure the above parameters. There are those who hang them up anywhere, those who stuff them in some pocket, those who place them - perhaps forgetting them - on a tool trolley ... This inconvenience appeared evident to the staff of Prisma Electronics, who therefore decided to put the aforementioned functions together in a single device and to present a new multi-functional device to the public which is undoubtedly very interesting.
The benefits of the new Prisma Electronics device are not just "bringing together" numerous functions in a single device, but they also involve technical characteristics.
Starting from the pressure gauge, for example, it has an automatic function to measure the pressure (Pressure Shoot), reducing the margin of error and preventing possible problems (for example when a driver, who has returned from a lap on the track, still wearing gloves, wrongly presses, or does not press, a button to measure the pressure). Another example of a function designed to make life easier for kart drivers (but not only them ...) is the pressure sensor with automatic calibration: each time the device is restarted, the internal processor autonomously calibrates the device. The company warrants almost absolute precision (0.1% accuracy class). Furthermore: each measurement automatically calculates the difference between hot and cold pressure values. The two values are stored, together with the date, time and external temperature, so that it is easier to reconstruct the history of the day on the track, study the performance trends and compare the results over time.
