Introduction

Installing an action cam on a kart chassis is extremely common, whether to review a session and analyse racing lines, trajectories and braking points, or to capture onboard footage to share on social media. To achieve truly high-quality footage, however, choosing a good camera is not enough: the way it is mounted makes all the difference. We have already covered the first aspect in the article “Must Have | The best action camera for go-karting? Choose from these 6 (from 90 to 800 Euros!)”. For this reason, choosing the right mounting solutions is crucial to ensure stable and reliable anchoring. Action cams can be installed in different areas depending on the desired framing. The radiator, chassis tubes, seat brackets and helmet are among the most common mounting points: each offers a distinct perspective and requires specific solutions. Below is a selection of six action cam mounts for karts, designed to suit different installation points and needs, with options across a range of budgets. We also provide practical advice to help prevent detachment and unsafe setups.
