Taking care of your kart is essential to keeping it efficient and ready for use. Every kart driver approaches maintenance differently: some take their time and dedicate themselves to every detail, while others, with less time or experience, often forget to maintain their vehicle altogether. In any case, having the right tools means turning a complex job into a quick, orderly, and precise intervention. For this reason—and especially for those who want to achieve professional results with minimal effort—we have selected 5 accessories and products for kart maintenance, ideal both on the track and at home after a day of driving. These products reduce fatigue, increase the effectiveness of maintenance, and extend the life of your kart by simplifying tasks such as removing rubber marks from the fairings, ensuring precise chain lubrication, and properly emptying the fuel tank and carburetor. This selection is useful both for those new to karting and wanting to learn how to manage maintenance with ease, and for more experienced kart drivers who want to optimize their pit routine and discover practical solutions they may not have yet considered.

N.B. Do you think there are other products that can be added to this selection? Do not hesitate to share them with other TKART users in the “Contributions” section at the end of the article. The community will be grateful!

Electric pump for transferring the mixture

After a day on the track, leaving fuel in the tank is a common mistake, especially among beginners. Gasoline tends to rapidly lose its properties due to the evaporation of volatile compounds, compromising the quality of the mixture and jeopardizing the engine's reliability. Furthermore, leaving fuel in the tank can cause yellowing and premature wear of all plastic components. Last but not least, in carburetors that use them, residual fuel tends to deform and reduce the effectiveness of the diaphragms, resulting in malfunction of the carburetor itself. To avoid these problems, an electric transfer pump is a quick and tidy solution, allowing you to completely empty the tank without having to remove it from the chassis. Compared to manual or vacuum pump emptying, this solution ensures cleaner operation and faster operation. Furthermore, this solution saves a significant amount of time, as while you empty the tank yourself, you can focus on other maintenance tasks. The only thing to keep in mind is that these pumps are battery-powered: it's therefore important to check their charge periodically and replace them when they run out. We recommend always keeping a spare set of batteries in your toolbox. The model we offer runs on two LR20 batteries (not included), has a flow rate of approximately 2 liters per minute, and, as reported by Mondokart—the online store that sells it—it features a suction tube long enough to easily reach the bottom of the tank.
