Bleeding the brakes is never a popular job. However, the pneumatic brake bleeding kit greatly facilitates the task. Discover this and other “must-haves” that every kart driver’s garage needs
Bleeding the brakes is one of the most unpopular jobs among kart enthusiasts. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a long and complicated procedure, because there is a “pneumatic” kit that makes things a lot easier. In order to use it, you need a compressor. If you have one, just connect the container can, equipped with a tap, to the pump and the tube of the suction can to the bleed screw. Once the compressor is turned on, it takes no time at all for the bleeding to be performed perfectly.
A kart engine is heavy and, although compact, quite bulky. If you put the chassis on a vertical trolley for the winter break, you need a place where you can safely store the engine. The normal racks that are usually found in garages aren’t always up to bearing the weight of a kart engine, so the best thing you can do is get an engine support: a simple tubular frame designed to support an engine safely.
