Scratching the chassis while on the track, when racing to achieve the very best performance is a normal thing, something that all kart drivers are willing to accept. Yet, to damage the frame by rubbing against the supports of the kart transport trailer is something that can be very frustrating (especially if the kart is new and the tube’s painting is aesthetically perfect) and should be avoided in every way possible. Usually the issue is circumvented by inserting foam rubber, or tape on the Kart transport trailer supports, although this is a temporary solution which, in the long run, does not prevent the problem from reoccurring.
