One of the best lubricants available on the market today is castor oil, which is added, due to its properties, to all oils that are not completely synthetic. It is considered an excellent lubricant, from every point of view, if it is used with engines capable of speeds above 9,000 rpm. So there is no difference in the percentages of use between 100% synthetic and semi-synthetic oils.
In fact, in relation to specific oils for kart mixtures, it must be said that they all have specific characteristics for constantly very high speeds as well as for very high stress levels, which is why the percentage of oil to be included in a mixture can vary according to the engine used and to the class to which it belongs, but not based on the type of oil.
If the goal is to reduce the percentage of oil to be used to make the mixture, if allowed, by using a high viscosity oil (SAE W50 or W60) it is possible to reduce the oil percentage by 0.5 or 1 point percentage compared to that usually used with oils of lower viscosity, still maintaining excellent lubrication.
