The air deflector can be mounted on the radiator in any weather conditions. Its function, in fact, is twofold: on the one hand it is essential for proper cooling of the engine as it serves to deflect the flow of hot air through the radiator and, on the other hand, it is also useful as protection against debris from tires sticking onto the radiator surface.
