A small challenge for enthusiasts: to recognise six famous drivers, and to know their past, starting from the photos in which they were young promising kart drivers. Some of them have won the world championship in Formula 1, others have kept the record of the number of Grand Prix won for years. Yet others have become karting legends and are still active in this field in the present day. Everyone, indiscriminately, began their journey driving karts and, of course, they have their stories to tell. The challenge, however, is to be able to recognise them, starting from how much their faces were those of simple kids in love with karting…

A helmet that was bigger than himself and blue mechanic style overalls. The helmet subsequently became one of his work tools.

Fernando Alonso, a very young promise of karting, which he managed to consolidate in single-seaters as well. He won the 2005 and 2006 world championships in Formula 1 with Renault and was a Ferrari driver from 2010 to 2014. But the memories of his time racing in karts remain the best ones.

You can still see him nowadays in the kart racing paddock, but it is no longer there for itself ...

in fact, for several years Riccardo Patrese held the GP record for Formula 1 races: 256, with 6 wins and 47 podiums, but the attendance record currently belongs to Rubens Barrichello with 323.
