Due to the still not very fluid situation regarding the anti Covid restrictions in the autonomous province of Trento, CRG announced, in agreement with the Teams, the relocation of the Collective Tests from Saturday 20 February to Saturday 6 March 2021. These tests will always take place on the Ala track which on 21 March will host the 1st round of the season.
This does not mean that the teams that had already planned the day of testing in Ala on February 20th will have to give it up. The track has in fact confirmed its willingness to reserve sessions for the Briggs classes on that date and all interested drivers will be able to carry out their training. However, the CRG spare parts structure will not be present, which will return to the track together with all the secretarial staff on Saturday 6 March.
It should be remembered that the release of ASI licenses for the 2021 season will therefore be postponed to March 6 and will then continue in the individual race weekends.
These additional two weeks of time will also allow many teams to receive the technical material in order and to better prepare for the first official release of the season.
With the occasion, CRG announces that all the races on the calendar are confirmed and that, according to the current legislation, any travel will be necessary only if the host Region becomes "red".
The programs and useful information regarding the Collective Tests on March 6th will be published shortly.
