Since its creation in 2009, the Sodi World Finals have been the flagship event of the SWS, bringing together the best leisure kart drivers worldwide. Although the sporting aspects of this unique competition have become established year after year, reaching an exceptional standard, the friendliness of the event has always been a major aim of the organiser 3MK Events.
The Sodi World Series enable over 62,000 drivers to compete around the world on rental Go-karts on more than 455 track partners in the operation. Launched in 2009, the concept was devised by the French company Sodikart (world leader in karting industry), and has continued to grow in 98 different countries on the five continents.
The secret of this success story is based on the easy and economical way to race combined with the leisure. It’s the warranty of the unsurpassed quality of the Sodi Rental karts, always at the forefront of innovation as well as flawless organisation at all SWS certified circuits across the world. The standard of savvy competitors in leisure karting has nothing to envy to other competitors in the karting world.
This year, for the 10th year anniversary Sodikart decided to go to Middle East – in Dubaï where, the first SWS Race launched the story. The SWS Finals 2020 will take place to the prestigious Dubaï Kartdrome.
From 16th to 18th April 2020, almost 300 drivers from five continents
will gather for the SWS World Finals on one of the most beautiful
Worldwild karting circuits with a packed program of racing, but also
entertainment and fun in the purest spirit of the SWS.
During 3 days, drivers of each category will have the chance to race on Sodi Go-Kart :
LR5 – 200cc (Junior category)
RT8 – 390 cc (Endurance category)
Sodi Sport J125 Rotax (Sprint category)
SWS Championship : How does it work?
The registration as driver is free. We have 3 categories :
Junior,
Sprint,
Endurance,
Drivers can race everywhere, on more than 455 SWS tracks. They cumulate points and rewards. Once a year, 3MK Events gives drivers quotas for each country and gives the possibility to them to be qualified for the SWS Finals, based on their solely and sport results.
Everything is managed by the National and International ranking.
