A genuine gateway to a professional career in motor sport, the Champions of the Future Academy Program returns in 2025 for a second season dedicated to accessibility, diversity, talent and detection. This programme offers a unique platform for young drivers to demonstrate their potential on equal terms on the world's greatest circuits. Organised on two continents, Europe and the Middle East, the championship will kick off with full grids at the famous Portimao circuit in Portugal, from 27th February to 2nd March. As usual, promoter RGMMC will guarantee maximum live coverage on several timing and streaming platforms.

In search of new talent
Who will succeed Spain's Luna Fluxa Cross in OK-N Senior, Australia's James Anagnostiadis in OK-N Junior, Belgium's Priam Bruno in Mini 60 and Italy's Niccolo Perico in Mini U10, last year's champions? The answer will come in a few months' time after the six events scheduled in six different countries. The specific format introduced with two separate races each weekend proved its effectiveness in 2024 and will be repeated this season. Last year, talent from the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Mozambique, Australia, Lithuania, Thailand, the United States and many other countries managed to climb to the top of the podium, bringing diversity rarely seen in motorsport. This veritable world tour of nationalities illustrates the global dimension of the programme.

Once again, the major Italian factories - Parolin, Kart Republic, IAME, TM Kart and Vega - will supply the equipment by drawing lots. Thanks to this perfect sporting equity, only talent will count and all the drivers will have the opportunity to shine.

Maximum visibility for the drivers
The success of the 2025 season already seems assured, with starting grids that will be full in all categories. The intensity of the competition will be at its peak, and spectators will be able to follow every race live on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Motorsport TV, with instant results available online, from free practice right through to the finals. This extensive media coverage will include constant posts on social networks.

Major Formula 1 teams such as Mercedes and Kick Sauber, as well as the F1 Academy, have understood the value of this innovative 'arrive and drive' competition. In search of the next generation of drivers, they are closely following the development of the series. Once again, the F1 Academy will be paying particular attention to promoting female talent, who will make up around 30% of the field. Nine of them (three per category) have already been selected to defend the colours of the 'F1 Academy Discover your Drive' programme.

In addition, the collaboration with Motorsport Performance Academy, which continues in 2024, will enable the best drivers to benefit from discovery courses in F4 and Legend Cars: a golden opportunity to progress to even higher levels of competition.

With such a rich and promising competition, the 2025 season of the "Champions of the Future Academy Program" clearly promises to be a real springboard for future motorsport talent.
