HOT NEWS - TKART - Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo has always had a deep bond with karts. In fact his open-wheel car bears the number 3, the same he used when he raced karts.

The Australian has now gone a step beyond paying homage to his first love, launching a complete line of karts. The soon to be Red Bull driver shared the first images of his "Ricciardo Kart"on his Twitter account.The project behind the name is a full line of karts produced and distributed by a Birel Art that covers every category, from Mini to Rotax classes and also the CIK-FIA international categories (KFJ, KF and KZ).

"I grew up on karts - says the Aussie - and even when I moved to single-seat cars, I always supported this sport and kept up the habit of training on karts whenever I can. I am very happy to get this project going. It's been fascinating to take part to the design and the construction of an entire line of go-karts, going from a blank sheet of paper to the track debut. I hope that many boys and girls will join the sport and win with Ricciardo Kart".

So in 2015 Ricciardo will try to conquer the future taking a dive in the past. His return in the world of karting won't be tied strictly to the production of the new line of karts that bear his name. He is also ready to step on track with a full racing team to compete in all the major international events, European and World Championships included.
